Hilton Felton, a keyboardist who has garnered huge support for his sophisticated touch, mellow feeling and superb groove, released this album in 1971 under the name THE THREE OF US as the first release of his own label, Hilton's Concept, in the early days of his career. This is a superb soul jazz album by a trio with Joe Harris (Bass) and Johnathan Setell (Drums), with whom Hilton was in a regular band at the time! Not only the soul jazz "Here Comes David" (M1) and "Music Shall Never Die" (M2) with their rich grooves, but also the aggressive intertwining with the tar, the tension MAX "Your Analysis" (M3), the ballad with mellow vocals and a sadness, and the euphoric killer soul "Dream Come True (Parts 1 And 2)" (M5), which was also cut as a single, all the songs are great! The CD has been remastered and reissued in the latest specifications!
