The first album released in 1976 by the superb Philadelphia funk group "Ingram", which has garnered overwhelming support from rare groove and free soul listeners, features an impressive jacket with carefree smiles from all the members and a sound full of euphoria! The album starts with the funky tune "Ingram Kingdom" (M1), which could be called the band's theme song, and then the sweet ballad "Tried It And Liked It" (M2) by the only female member Barbara makes the album more gentle, and then there is the killer tune "What Else Can I Say" (M3), which has a light cutting guitar and a bouncy rhythm, and the mellow soul "He's Mine" (M4), which features a melancholy female vocal and a soft groove, and the wide range of the band's style is beautifully expressed from the first half. The second half of the album is packed with ballads like "Music Is Our Message" (M5) and "She's All Alone (I Need A Man)" (M8), funk numbers like "The Funk Is In Our Music" (M6) and "Put Your Troubles Behind" (M9), and groovy soul "Someone's On My Side" (M7) with its melancholic lead guitar and exquisitely intertwined vocals and chorus.
