TERRY SAMPSON “E, Just E” CD
★Supervision and commentary: Kanazawa Toshikazu (Light Mellow)
A hidden treasure of 90's AOR is back for the first time in about a quarter century! This masterpiece first solo album was quietly self-released in 1997 by American songwriter Terry Sampson, who is known only to those in the know!
"Terry Sampson, the little-known melody maker who wrote the hit song "God's Gift To The World" sung by Al Jarreau, Phil Perry, and Carl Anderson, is now unveiling his new album. He has also written songs for Kenny Rogers and Hitomi Toyama (aka Penny)." --Kanazawa Toshikazu
The album includes the classic "God's Gift To The World," as well as "Love'll Hold My Baby Tonight" for Carl Anderson and a self-cover of "See Me Through" for Kenny Rogers. This Japanese edition omits one song from the original 1997 version, adds three songs, and changes the track order significantly.
