Fay Hill is a female singer who has been active in LA since the '80s. She is also known for her urban soul second album, "Island In My Mind," released in 1987, which featured professional musicians and engineers from LA. However, this album, her first, released in 1981, is a superb lady soul album with irresistible powerful vocals and a sound full of city vibes! Among them, the city soul "I Don't Know" (M5), produced by MICHAEL ORR, a familiar figure in the rare groove scene, with its pleasant guitar cutting at the beginning, is the highlight of this album. In addition, the masterpiece full of killer tunes such as "I Know Who You Should See" (M2) and "Any Load You Can Handle" (M7), which were cut as singles on 7-inch at the time and are still premium today, are finally available on CD for the first time in the world!
