The Recreations loves the 90's British and American alternative indie bands while admiring the good melody that continues from The Beatles and The Beach Boys.The long-awaited first album is released in response to a hot love call from early-ear music enthusiasts!

A catchy and delicate melody reminiscent of pop legends such as The Beatles, The Beach Boys, ELO, and Todd Rundgren are fused with sound images of guitar pop, power pop, neo acoustic, shoegaze, etc.This is a solo project by Yohei Minamiha, who writes and composes all musical instruments.When the song was released on SoundCloud in 2016, it became a hot topic among pop enthusiasts in Japan and overseas, and on the popular online radio program Pure Pop Radio by US pop enthusiast, songs such as "Swing Together" and "Smile Again" were released by Jelly Fish and Burt. It is taken up many times with reference to Bacharach and others.
In August 2017, he released the 1st EP "Swing Together EP" with 6 songs from his own label "The Chlor Records".When it was released in advance at a certain online CD shop, it became a hit with enthusiastic support from early-ear music lovers.

The following year, in January 2018, the EP was released nationwide.

In 2021, he participated in the music production of Kirk Cardy McKenzie's solo project "Famous Groupies", which is known as a super high level McCartney follower. He co-wrote the single "Starlight" from his new album. (Scheduled to release the album in 2021)

In May of the same year, the long-awaited first album "The Recreations" was released.
