HAINO KEIJI & THE HARDY ROCKS "You're either standing facing me or next to me" CD
This is all rock. The language of rock that I speak of is revealed as if a seal had been broken in an ancient document. -- Keiji Haino
Keiji Haino is an internationally acclaimed musician who made his debut in 1970 as the vocalist for the avant-garde rock band Lost Allaah, and formed Fushitsusha in 1978. Since then, he has been active in a variety of forms, including solo performances as well as with Shin'aimu, Aibiyo, Vajra, and Sanhedrin. Haino, who is always pursuing the "now", formed this rock band in 2016 with young, talented musicians including Masami Kawaguchi (Kawaguchi Masami's New Rock Syndicate). The long-awaited studio album from HAINO KEIJI & THE HARDY ROCKS. The recording was done at GOK SOUND, which is well-known for its analog recordings, with engineer Yoshiaki Kondo, a man the band has great trust in, serving as the engineer. With Haino as the sole vocalist, they established a clear concept of singing rock and roll, R&B, soul, jazz, and even Japanese songs in English, which are their roots. They have been actively performing live, and in 2021 a live recording was released digitally by a British label to good acclaim. The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Bob Dylan, The Who and other famous songs are thoroughly deconstructed and reconstructed to reveal the true nature of the songs, creating the ultimate in real rock. The impact will appeal to a wide range of rock fans of all generations.
