Junk Fujiyama "Happiness" CD

A Japanese artist brought to you by Light Mellow Searches, supervised by Kanazawa Toshikazu! Junk Fujiyama has produced many hit songs as the flagship of the CITY POP boom both in Japan and overseas. Their latest studio-recorded original album, "Happiness," will be released physically!

This album is a must-listen for music fans looking for good music, featuring 10 songs packed with refreshing melodies overflowing with a city pop feel, including "Boku Dake no SUNSHINE" which topped the Spotify viral chart three times, "Magical Tweets" featuring the popular brass section FIRE HORNS, "Summer Acceleration ~Kiss In My Heart~," which colored last summer, the lead track "Lovely Universe" with its sparkling melody, the wonderful ballad "TABLE 9," and more. All the songs were arranged by the young creator Itsuki Kamiya, who composed half of the songs on the album. The sophisticated sound that runs freely from the past to the present to the future of CITY POP skillfully incorporates the essence of pop, AOR, soul, rock, folk, etc., and outputs a nostalgic yet new feeling, making Junk Fujiyama's emotional vocals stand out even more.
The jacket illustration was done by the up-and-coming artist "hikari&-", and is a pop piece filled with a universal feeling of "happiness."
The CD includes a bonus track, "Yasashii Namae," from a live performance in July 2011 featuring Japan's leading drummer, Murakami "Ponta" Shuichi, who passed away in March.
