Dony Joint "A 03 Tale, ¥ella" CD

Following on from IO and YOUNG JUJU from the popular crew KANDYTOWN, DONY JOINT's long-awaited solo debut album "A 03 Tale, ¥ella" is finally complete! The members of KANDYTOWN participated, and it also includes new recordings as BANKROLL!

◆ KANDYTOWN is a young hip-hop crew that has been making waves not only in the Japanese rap scene but also in the apparel industry with their street-only releases (which all sold out instantly!), performances at numerous popular events, and being featured in street and fashion magazines, and their unexpected major label debut has also become a hot topic! Among them is rapper DONY JOINT, who, along with IO and YOUNG JUJU, is a member of BCDMG, the top creator group in the Japanese rap scene!

◆ He participated in a cipher organized by UNITED ARROWS with IO and YOUNG JUJU, DJed by MURO, alongside ANARCHY and KOHH, and released the free download album "Nothing New" with full support from CARHARTT! He has been attracting attention as a figure following IO and YOUNG JUJU, and his skills and sense are already guaranteed with his dope flow that can be heard in important songs such as "5 IN THE CITY" (DONY JOINT feat. IO) and "We & 4Ever U" (IO, YOUNG JUJU, DONY JOINT), which are standard at KANDYTOWN live shows. His name, voice and face are widely known through his rap in "R.T.N.", the lead song from KANDYTOWN's major debut work, and now his long-awaited debut album is finally being released!

◆ The first single is "Vice City" produced by Jashwon, the boss of BCDMG, a crew that DONY JOINT also belongs to! This killer tune makes the most of DONY JOINT's dope rap style, and has been a hot topic since its release, and has already become a staple at live shows! The second single is "Good Times," a soulful and 80's-flavored song reminiscent of "R.T.N.," produced and featured by fellow KANDYTOWN member RYOHU!

◆ The soon-to-be-released debut album, "A 03 Tale, ¥ella," will feature all the members of KANDYTOWN! Among them, "B Right," produced by the members of BANKROLL, consisting of DONY JOINT, RYOHU, IO, BIG SANTA CLASSIC, DJ MASATO, and the now deceased YUSHI, will surely bring tears to the eyes of KANDYTOWN and BANKROLL fans. The producers include Jashwon, who produced the previous song, RYOHU, as well as Neetz from KANDYTOWN, and the well-known KING OF DIGGIN, MURO, who also participated in IO's "Soul Long," KASHI DA HANDSOME, a member of K.O.D.P. led by MURO and known for his work with NITRO MICROPHONE UNDERGROUND and Kieru Makyu, and THE PURIST, a beatmaker from London, UK, known for his work with DANNY BROWN, ACTION BRONSON, WESTSIDE GUNN, and others, from overseas! It's a terrifying lineup...

◆ The artwork was done by IO and Takuya Kamioka, who has worked on KANDYTOWN, IO, and YOUNG JUJU's solo works, as well as KOHH and Wednesday Campanella, and the photography was done by Cherry Chill Will, a charismatic photographer who has taken photos of many Japanese hip-hop artists, so again, it's a solid lineup!
