GAME MUSIC "All Sounds of Illusion City" CD

The soundtrack for "Illusion City," an RPG developed by Micro Cabin for MSXturboR in 1991 that later gained popularity after being ported to various PC platforms and home consoles, is set to be reissued with the latest remastering!

The music, created by Tadahiro Nitta, Yasufumi Fukuda, and Yukiharu Urita, who were all part of Micro Cabin at the time, made waves with its incredibly skillful FM sound. It sharply expresses the game's world view with futuristic and cool sounds befitting a game touted as a cyberpunk hyper-mystical RPG.

"Illusion City," which unfolds its cyberpunk-style story set in futuristic Hong Kong, was released by Micro Cabin in December 1991 as an MSXturboR game. It was later ported to various PCs such as PC-9801, PC-88VA, X68000, and FM-TOWNS, as well as the Mega CD (an expansion CD-ROM unit for the Mega Drive), becoming a popular RPG. The music, created by Tadahiro Nitta, Yasufumi Fukuda, and Yukiharu Urita, who were all part of Micro Cabin at the time, developed a futuristic and cool sound that entwined inorganic electric beats with diverse ambient textures.
