ROEDELIUS, ONNEN BOCK, YUKO MATSUZAKI "MOON GARDEN" CD

This cutting-edge experimental/ambient work was created after a long hiatus by electronic musician Roedelius, renowned as a pioneer of German experimental music, environmental music, and Krautrock, and Onnen Bock, known not only as an audio engineer for the Berlin Philharmonic but also for his work with Roedelius in the unit Qluster, and Yuko Matsuzaki, the creator of the extremely rare Japanese 80s New Age/ambient album "Raden no Hako"!

"Rodelius" is a famous German electronic musician who is a pioneer of experimental, krautrock and ambient music and was an original member of Harmonia, a cluster that had a huge influence on electronic music since the 1970s. "Onnen Bock" is known not only as an audio engineer for the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and a sound engineer for many recordings, but also in recent years as part of the unit "Qluster" with Rodelius. And this is a miraculous collaboration between "Yuko Matsuzaki", who is also the creator of the extremely rare domestic 80s New Age/Ambient record "Raden no Hako" and has been active in Japan and Europe as a composer, arranger, flutist, synthesizer/keyboardist!

After a long hiatus since the early 2000s, when Yuko Matsuzaki arranged and edited music data by Roedelius and Onnen Bock, added new compositions and mixed it, the final mix was finally released in 2020. The title track "Moon Garden" (M2) is a borderless soundscape that fuses modern technology, live performance and female vocals, and further deepens the soft electronic sounds and oriental landscapes that Roedelius expressed in his mid-period masterpiece "PINK, BLUE & AMBER" (1996) featuring Yuko Matsuzaki. It is as if the collaboration of electronic sounds, piano and female vocals expressed in the opening track "Poetry" of "PINK, BLUE & AMBER" has been reconstructed after many years.
