"OCTAVISION" is a progressive metal project centered around guitarist and composer Hovak Alaverdyan. In 2016, the nine-minute instrumental masterpiece "Three Lives" was suddenly released on a video streaming site, attracting attention when jazz-fusion bassist Victor Wooten, who plays groovy bass, participated in the song. Furthermore, the production process was announced on social media, and HR/HM super bassist Billy Sheehan also appeared, causing a stir among metal listeners around the world. This is the long-awaited first album from the project!

The crossover sound, which combines the virtuoso technique displayed in each part and the intricately evolving classical style with modern and global gimmicks such as the use of traditional Armenian instruments and mysterious Middle Eastern melodies, is truly another dimension of progressive metal!

This shocking and controversial album, which features two songs by Jeff Scott Soto, a vocalist representing the hard rock/heavy metal scene who has been active in everything from the Yngwie Malmsteen band to Sons of Apollo and his own project SOTO, is finally being released in Japan, making it a fitting album to end 2020!
