Has there ever been a sound like this before? Stylish, elegant and groovy. He is also listed as an artist on Madlib's library label "MadlibInvazion", and J.Rocc has also praised his talent, so he has already earned high praise from black post-rare groove fans. On the other hand, this masterpiece has also impressed European lounge/listening fans such as EASY TEMPO! From Quincy to Morricone, the "Holy Grail" built by the giants is revived in the modern era.
Sven Wunder is a Stockholm-based musician who has been coming to prominence for the past few years. Although his roots lie in 70s funk, soul and jazz, he is gaining recognition among young listeners who have not experienced rare groove in real time, and is now rapidly gaining popularity as a leader of the next generation. This is the first CD release of his 4th album, which has been highly praised as his masterpiece and was previously released only on analog LP. What is consistent throughout this work is the (hip-hop-like) beat, the magnificent strings, and the delicate and beautiful melodies that exude a sense of wabi-sabi. This is a sound that can rival the giants of various fields such as Piero Piccioni, Quincy Jones, Ennio Morricone, etc. His consistent style, his strong composing ability without any unnecessary songs, and his commitment to sound quality are all examples of craftsmanship.
This album also includes bonus tracks not included on the LP or available on subscription services.
I already have the feeling this will be a masterpiece.
