20 years have passed since the release of the Japanese thrash hardcore masterpiece "THRASH 'EM ALL!!"! This two-disc set includes a re-recorded version that breathes new life into the band with twin guitars from RAZORS EDGE, and a remaster of the original version that was out of print!
Razor's Edge, who created the "light, fast, and high-tension" hardcore sound that was recognized worldwide at the time, has re-recorded early songs such as their 2000 first album "THRASH 'EM ALL!!" and their 1998 debut single "THRASH MARCH" in a total of 20 songs. This hybrid re-recording album explodes the chemistry that occurred within the band by becoming twin guitars, and can be listened to as a new work!
Formed in 1996 by KENJI RAZORS, the thrash hardcore band RAZORS EDGE is now one of the world's most renowned thrash hardcore bands. In this genre, which is packed with shouts over an insanely intense and hasty beat, there are many bands around the world that are short-lived, just like their sound. Despite this, they have continued to work without stopping, even after several member changes, and have released two singles, six albums, one mini-album, and one best album. The number of songs is well over 120. This fact is amazing. Their greatness seems to go unrecognized because they have always had a strong presence in live houses, but their creativity in a genre that is destined to be short-lived, which has led them to continue to work on new sounds, and their strong mentality in continuing to stand on stage no matter what difficulties they faced, should be more highly regarded.
Four years after the release of their latest 20th anniversary best album "RAZORS MANIA" (2016 THRASH ON LIFE RECORDS), they will release a re-recorded album of 20 songs, including their first milestone album "THRASH 'EM ALL!!" (2000 CH), released in 2000, and their early recordings! This masterpiece, which has been revived after 20 years, is a hybrid work that explodes with chemistry with two new guitarists who joined last year, and updates everything! (This is the first time that RAZORS EDGE has a twin guitar system.) The only member who remains from the recording in 2000 is leader KENJI RAZORS. In other words, the recording of this re-recorded album is so different that it can be said to be a different band. The parts that should be left at the time are reproduced in a hyper style, including the atmosphere, and each part is rearranged to create a new finish, making it a powerful re-recorded album that is fun to listen to and compare with the original!
