This album compiles a little-known take of the masterpiece "Watarase" by jazz pianist Fumio Itabashi, who is now in the limelight among jazz fans around the world, from the perspective of Minoru Wakasugi, a pioneer of the Japanese jazz scene, and has been well-received. The first release, "Watarase ~ECHO~," was released, and the second, "Watarase ~VOICE~," was released, which was a compilation of songs focusing on "voice," mainly unreleased songs featuring a wide variety of vocalists. The complete version of "Symphonic Poem "Watarase"" performed by the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra in 2001, Fumio Itabashi, Yuki Kaneko, and conductor Kazuhiko Komatsu has finally been released! Although a partial anthology version will be included in the second release, "Watarase ~VOICE~," the complete 42-minute version can only be heard on the original VHS tapes, making this a truly elusive recording. This will be the first time it has been made physical.
