Philip Lassiter “Raw In Amsterdam” CD

This is the first CD release of a live recording from Amsterdam by Philip Lassiter, the trumpeter who was the horn leader in Prince's backing band! Candy Dulfer and Durand Bernard also participate!

Philip Lassiter is a trumpeter/arranger who was the leader of the horn section in Prince's backing band, and has performed with Kirk Franklin, Ariana Grande, Timbaland, Roberta Flack, and others, winning 11 Grammy Awards. His live recording of a 15-member live ensemble in Amsterdam in 2023 is now available on CD for the first time! This performance also features saxophone player Candy Dulfer, who supported Prince with Philip, and SSW Durand Bernard, who has performed with Erykah Badu and was featured on NPR's Tiny Desk, making this a work that allows you to enjoy Philip as a frontman, as well as his songwriting and arranging abilities!
