Michigan Avenue is a mixed-gender group produced by the famous Chicago producer Clarence Johnson, known for producing Brighter Side Of Darkness, among others. The only album by them, the original of which is quite expensive, is being reissued!
The album is packed with great content, including the uplifting melody of "Special Kind Of Love," mellow soul classics such as "Don't Take Me For The Ride" and "All That Matters," which could be used as sampling sources, Mellow Dancer's "Can't Get Enough," and classic covers such as the Flamingos' "I Only Have Eyes For You" and Baby Washington's "That's Heartaches Are Made."
