JINTANA & EMERALDS “Emerald City Guide” CD

JINTANA&EMERALDS, a neo-doo-wop band from Yokohama label Pan Pacific Playa, has released their second album since their album DESTINY, which won first place in the 2014 Music Magazine pop/J-POP category!

This album, themed on a "fantasy trip" to Emerald City, a parallel world fictional city where doo-wop has evolved in its own way, features a gorgeous booklet in the form of a tourist guidebook introducing the exotic city's scenery and seasonal customs, as well as a new era of oldies with chorus work so beautiful it brings tears to your eyes. The previously released "Oh! Southern Wind" and "Drip Trip" have also been well-received!!
The members are steel guitarist JINTANA EMERALDS, guitarist KASHIF EMERALDS aka Kashif, who has released "Blue Songs" through Billboard Records, track maker XTAL EMERALDS aka XTAL, who released "Aburelu" in 2020, aphrodisiac singer TOI EMERALDS aka Hitomitoi, who has released original albums including the theme song for the NHK drama "Tario" songwriter CAO EMERALDS aka Kamikaoru, who is active in writing K-pop lyrics and providing songs for Hinatazaka46, and MAMI EMERALDS, who also works as an actor.
The dreamy summer where wall of sound and modern ambient music intersect is about to begin once again...!
