The second album (released in 1988) by Kalima, a unique jazz/funk/Latin/bossa band at the Factory. Smoky, sensual, moonlight, a cool and swinging album for a 4am romance. Although Andy Cornell and the other three members who had also been active in A Certain Ratio had unfortunately left the band (Cornell also left ACR to focus on Swing Out Sister), new members had joined and this was a memorable album for the stable lineup. Includes six bonus tracks, including songs from two 12-inch singles. This is a must-listen for fans of jazz and Brazilian music via Everything But The Girl and Weekend, as well as fans of acid jazz such as Working Week.
