These two historic musicians have a combined professional career spanning more than 100 years. They have known each other since the early 1960s and have performed together on John Lee Hooker's albums, but this is the first time they have worked together to produce a full album. The project began in 2017 when they recorded the original version of the title track of this album together for Elvin Bishop's Big Fun Trio album. The special musical chemistry between the two musicians, who share a deep understanding of the blues, has resulted in the best and most memorable album of either of their careers. A masterpiece that adds a new chapter to their already rich story.
