Nanako Sato is a legendary female singer who has been praised as the "original Shibuya-kei singer" and whose work from the so-called "city pop" period of the 1970s is being reevaluated. In recent years, she has also been active under the name Nanaco and is also a professional photographer. From the 1990s to the present, she has continued to interact with talents of various generations both in Japan and overseas, while honing her keen sensibilities for art.

The person she chose as her partner this time is the eccentric New York-based artist Riki Hidaka. He has successfully toured with Jim O'Rourke and Eiko Ishibashi twice, last year and this year, and is one of the most noteworthy new artists right now, receiving rave reviews for his unique, mysterious guitar sound and sound world (the term "artist" really suits him).
