KIKUMARU "711" CD

The new album "711" is executive produced by Ryohu of KANDYTOWN rapper KIKUMARU! It features KANDYTOWN members KEIJU, DONY JOINT, MUD, Gottz, Neetz, MIKI, HOLLY Q, as well as Tusiki, BES, L-VOKAL, QN and more!

◆ KIKUMARU is a rapper who is a member of the notable crew KANDYTOWN and not only participates in the group's works and the members' solo works, but is also active as a solo artist, releasing his first solo album "Still Here" in 2013 and his second album "On The Korner" in 2016. After the EP "Focus" was released in 2017, KIKUMARU has released his long-awaited new album "711", his first in about two years, executively produced by Ryohu, a fellow member of KANDYTOWN!

◆ In addition to Ryohu, KEIJU, DONY JOINT, MUD, Gottz, HOLLY Q and others from KANDYTOWN are scheduled to participate, and other guests include Tusiki and QN, who are close to KANDY, as well as BES and L-VOKAL! The album will be produced by Ryohu and Neetz from KANDYTOWN, MIKI, Gradis Nice, Scratch Nice, Mass-hole, Jazadocument, FEBB (RIP....), who are familiar faces in KANDYTOWN-related works, and ARATA aka Pxrxdigm and MUDDY THUMB, members of WONK. It will be a hip-hop album that inherits the authentic New York style that strongly reflects KIKUMARU's tastes!

◆ The music video for the lead track "Bilal Trap," produced by GRADIS NICE & SCRATCH NICE, was shot in New York in collaboration with Reebok! It was released digitally ahead of the release of the album information, and was also selected as a "Hotpicks" by InterFM897! The album also features a number of powerful collaborations featuring a number of impressive artists that show the breadth of KIKUMARU's circle of acquaintances, such as "Longtonight," a collaboration with HOLLY Q, a member of KANDYTOWN who is well known to those in the know; "Express deal," in which KEIJU (as YOUNG JUJU!), who is making his major debut with SONY MUSIC, shows off his specialty of auto-tune; "March," in which he shares the mic with BES and L-VOKAL over the beat left behind by FEBB, who passed away suddenly in February of this year; "Make My Day," produced by MIKI and featuring his longtime friend QN; and "Meant 2 Be," a soulful, medium-mellow track with another longtime friend, Tusiki.

◆ Art direction is handled by Takuya Ueoka, who has worked on many KANDYTOWN works, including solo works, and IO, a close friend of KANDYTOWN, and the photographers are Cherry Chill Will, who has also worked on KANDYTOWN related works, and Koki Sato, who lives in New York. This will be a release with a rock-solid structure that has been carefully crafted down to the smallest detail!!
