Richard Thompson (RT), one of the leading guitarists and singer-songwriters in the UK. This is a cover album of rare tracks he has provided to other artists, newly recorded in an acoustic style. Along with "Acoustic Classics II," this is definitely a must-listen and must-have album for RT fans. Needless to say, it's fantastic.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Fairport Convention's formation, Shinko Music will release a Fairport Convention & Richard Thompson special edition supervised by Tadashi Igarashi on September 19th. A 7-CD box set of Fairport Convention will also be released in the UK and the US.
