Hiyamuta Kei band "μ" CD

Kei Hiyamuta, a guitarist who has been active in the contemporary indie scene as a guitarist for Skirt, Siamese Cats, Dotsuitarunen, and ex-Konchu Kids, and who is highly praised by Seiko Omori, has finally started a new band. The debut album of his band, Kei Hiyamuta Band, will be released on Wednesday, October 4th, 2017! The lead song is M-2 "Teardrop"!!

He is also a current member and guitarist of Toyoda Michinori & mtvBAND, and continues to work in both the indie pop and underground scenes. His sound world, which is a unique interpretation of shoegaze and new wave influences reminiscent of My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, and the Cure, also contains elements of guitar pop and a euphoric pop feel, making it addictively attractive. The music video for the lead song "teadrop," which was released before the release, was directed by Iwabuchi Hiroki. The members of the band include Sakuma Yuta, who is also the drummer of Skirt, Komori Kiyotaka of Kowarekake no Tape Recorders, HOSE, Kaerume, and Unami Taku, who is also a member of Toyoda Michinori & mtvBAND.
