Martin & Garp is a duo unit started by Phil Martin, producer of The Jazz Invaders, a popular Dutch jazz combo known for their collaborations with Lonnie Smith and Azymuth, and Lo van Garp, a Dutch singer who also participated in Tim Treffers' latest album, Young and Determined. This album features AOR and yacht rock sounds that are comparable to Young Gun Silver Fox by Andy Platz and Shawn Lee, who are considered the best AOR duo of today, including "Making Up," which incorporates pop elements, and "Start All Over Again," which has a warm West Coast atmosphere with its refreshing chorus.
