Ivan Ave made his debut with a work produced by Stones Throw's Mndsgn on Jakarta, a high-quality label that has released works by Benny Sings and J.LAMOTTA Suzume, and has captivated jazzy/lo-fi/R&B fans with his atmospheric sound. His latest work will be released on Mutual Intentions, a label he founded with other musicians and artists. While retaining his trademark jazzy and lo-fi hip-hop, mellow and soulful sound, 7 of the 11 songs on the album were produced with guitarist Sasac. The sound is more strongly influenced by 80's jazz funk, AOR and yacht rock than his previous solo works, and is also influenced by the aesthetics of new age from the late 80's to the early 90's!
