BILLY WOOTEN “In This World” CD
★First limited production
★Paper jacket specification
Vibraphonist Billy Wooten is hugely popular not only among jazz-funk and rare groove fans, but also among many DJs and club users. This album, which is considered to be on par with the 1972 masterpiece "Live," a rare groove masterpiece, is a mellow, soulful sound reminiscent of Roy Ayers from the same period, and gives a wonderful feel of the scene at the very edge of the 1980s!
The album contains 11 songs in total that combine jazz funk and fusion with Brazilian essence, such as the refreshing Latin flavored "Chicango" (M3) and "Dancing and Singing" (M6), the sophisticated fusion-like jazz funk "Blues In The Pocket" (M4), and the euphoric male and female vocal number "In This World" (M11)!
