◆IGBO is a funk band formed by three disparate members: Sly5thAve, a saxophonist/multi-instrumentalist who served Prince and was also a member of The New Power Generation, and known for his collaborations with Stevie Wonder, Janelle Monae, and Quantic; guitarist/producer Benamin; and stylist-turned-singer Jypsy Jeyfree. Not only is it funky, but it also has artwork and opened for ESG's 40th anniversary gig, and has also performed with Gabriel Garzón Montano. Their talent is real.

◆Recorded at Quantic's studio, Selva Studios, the album features guest appearances by Mono Neon, the eccentric bassist whose talent is recognized by Thundercat, and Nick Hakim, the bedroom soul singer-songwriter whose Japan tour at WWWX in May 2019 was well received!
