NST (Noh Sung-taek) & The Soul Source is a reggae band that creates music that fuses elements of reggae/dub, jazz, Afrobeat, funk, soul, and psychedelic with traditional Korean sounds. Since their debut in 2016, they have been invited to music festivals around the world, including Fuji Rock, and in 2017 they were even selected as the opening act for Lee Perry's US tour, making an extraordinary leap forward. This is the second album of a collaboration with Kim Yul-hee, a singer of pansori, a traditional Korean folk art registered as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. Naoyuki Uchida, a world-renowned Japanese engineer (LITTLE TEMPO, OKI DUB AINU BAND, etc.), mixed and co-produced the album. The unexpected combination of reggae and pansori creates a powerful and spiritual sound that explodes into a masterpiece!
