The Loch Ness Mouth "The Loch Ness Mouth II" CD

The Loch Ness Mouth, the world's best in "prefab guitar pop", release their delightful new album, their first in three years!

A modern Norwegian treasure that perfectly inherits the romanticism of 80's sophisticated pop such as Prefab Sprout, Style Council, Everything But The Girl, and The Blue Nile! Once again, a masterpiece of ecstasy with endless waves of sweet melodies and sparkling arrangements!

■M8 is a cover of Tracey Thorn! And... the Japanese edition bonus tracks are Prefab Sprout's everlasting classic "The Sound of Crying" and a cover of Scritti Politti's "Overnite"! (Crying with joy)

The Loch Ness Mouse is a six-man band from Norway whose previous album "The Loch Ness Mouse" in 2016 captured the hearts of Japanese pop lovers. As the title suggests, their long-awaited new album, released after a three-year hiatus, is a super-good album that is a normal evolution of the concept of their previous album, just as expected! They are the only band that can express the influence of their biggest source of inspiration, Prefab Sprout and Paddy McAloon, as well as the 80s UK neo-acoustic, guitar pop, and Swedish pop with a hint of jazz and bossa nova, with such love and high quality! Following on from "The Cherry Blossom in Japan" from their previous album, they also have "Simple Song for a Suzuki" and "A Name for 2002 (Komorebi)" which includes a monologue in Japanese, showing their considerable love for Japan. The album also has a great sense of style, with the Tracey Thorn cover "By Piccadilly Station I Sat Down and Wept" (from the 2007 album "Out of the Woods") casually slipped into "Dee C. Lee," a song that will make any Sta-Kan fan smile! This album is a vacuum-packed version of pop music magic, and is a must-listen for fans of Prefab's "Jordan: The Comeback" and "Andromeda Heights"!
