Following the compilation CD featuring the new generation of "city soul," the much talked about disc guide "City Soul" is releasing its first straight reissue, "Latul" (1981)!

This classic album, which was highly praised by AOR and free soul fans alike, has been reissued in a double paper jacket that reproduces the gatefold LP format, with an exquisite mellow groove that blends plenty of Latin and island flavors with the AOR and disco sounds that were mainstream at the time.

This is the only album by LATUL, the band led by Chris Latul, guitarist/singer of the Indonesian Latin funk band Massada, who lives in the Netherlands! Influenced by disco and AOR, which were mainstream in 1981, the album has a light and mellow sound, and while retaining the island flavor unique to Indonesian musicians, it is an exquisite blend of the AOR style that was popular all over the world, such as that of Macky Fairly (Hawaii) and Marcos Valle (Brazil). The 7-inch single "Love Is On The Line", released the following year in 1982, is included as a bonus track!
