This song-focused AOR project, centered around the duo of veteran Swedish guitarist Mats Johansson and keyboardist Kai Backman, released their satisfying debut album digitally only in July 2018, and now it's available exclusively on CD in Japan! The motto of this work is to portray both the smooth and dynamic aspects of old-school AOR, and it will delight AOR fans with a variety of sounds that will make them drool, from supple and refreshing West Coast to solid melodic rock reminiscent of Airplay and Toto, and graceful works featuring female vocals. You can imagine the high quality of the album from the fact that it is backed by key players in the Nordic AOR scene, such as Finnish producer/keyboardist Tommi Malm, whose masterpiece solo album "Walkin' On Air" is still fresh in our memory, and bassist Lars-Erik Dahle of the Ole Boulud Band. This is a masterpiece that I would especially recommend to fans of current AOR work by artists such as Tommi Malm and CWF (Champlin Williams Friestedt).
