Main Source "Fuck What You Think" CD

★ Exclusively released on CD in Japan

After Large Professor left the band, Mikey D joined as the new MC, and Main Source restarted. Their second album, "Fuck What You Think," was scheduled to be released by Wild Pitch in 1994, but was shelved due to various circumstances (released in 1998). This is the first domestic release with bonus tracks added to the 25th anniversary edition of "Breaking Atoms"!

◆Main Source produced the follow-up album to their first album, Breaking Atoms, but after Large Professor left the band midway, the remaining members K. Kat and Sir Scratch welcomed Mikey D of Mikey D & LA Posse, known for releasing songs such as "I Get Rough" produced by Paul C (deceased), Professor Large's mentor, as the new MC. They revived as a hard group, as if conscious of the flow of the scene where the NY hardcore sound was sweeping with the debut of Nas and Wu-Tang Clan, and when the comeback single "What You Think" was well received, they produced the album "Fuck What You Think" under Wild Pitch, just like their first album. Although the completion of the album was widely reported, this time Mikey D left the band, and the album was left in the dust and was passed down as a phantom album... (※It was suddenly released in 1998 after Main Source broke up). This notorious (yet excellent!) work has been released for the first time in Japan with the 25th anniversary edition of "Breaking Atoms" and additional bonus tracks!

◆Although reborn as a hardcore album, the funky sampling sound reminiscent of the ``Breaking Atoms'' period, starting with track 1 ``Diary Of A Hit Man,'' is still alive and well, and the album is filled with songs that will impress any enthusiast, such as track 3 ``What You Need,'' which was sampled by Madonna in ``Human Nature'' (1995), and track 10 ``Set It Off,'' a hot posse cut featuring Jadakiss and Sheik Rouch, who would later make their debut as The Rocks on Bad Boy. ``Fuck What You Think'' is overshadowed by the masterpiece ``Breaking Atoms,'' and has rarely been talked about, but it is no exaggeration to call it a masterpiece in a different sense from ``Breaking Atoms''!

◆This reissue includes the bonus tracks "Without Breakin It Down" and "Got'm Say'n Hey" (produced by Large Professor!), which were released under the name of Mikey D!
