Diane Shaw "Second Chance" CD

The long-awaited second album from female singer Diane Shaw, whose debut album "Love, Life & Strings" was the best-selling soul album in the UK in 2015! This is future classic soul!

■ Diane Shaw is a UK female singer who has been backing up big artists such as The Stylistics, Martha Reeves, and Alexander O'Neill for 20 years. Her debut album "Love, Life and Strings," which was rich in the scent of soul from the golden age of the late 1960s to the early 1970s, recorded good sales in Japan (released in Japan in 2016), and her second album is now here.

■ In this album, she takes the successful approach of her previous album, old school arrangements and the use of real musicians, and creates 12 new "future classic soul" numbers. The previously unreleased Michael McDonald-composed "Someone Like You" is a mid-tempo number, and Jimmy Webb's unreleased 1963 Motown song "(Come Back) Halfway" is sure to rock the dance floors of the Northern Soul scene. Japanese soul fans will be happy to hear that the album features three HDH-related songs: Laura Lee's "Remember Me," Honey Cone's "The Day I Found Myself," and Eighth Day's "I Can't Fool Myself." This is a masterpiece that is just as good as the previous album.
