Rock and roll for black holes! No Age, a noise rock band from Los Angeles that continues to work with a DIY spirit, releases their long-awaited new album after about four and a half years! The best driving music that is extremely exhilarating!

■No Age is a Los Angeles noise rock band consisting of drummer and vocalist Dean Spunt and guitarist Randy Randall, who continue to work with a DIY spirit, based at The Smell, an art space in Los Angeles. Their first album, Knowns (Sub Pop), was released in 2008 and was highly acclaimed worldwide, making them one of the most important bands in the US indie scene. Now they have left Sub Pop and are releasing their new album through Drag City.

■"Snares Like a Haircut" resonates like good shit. It's a refreshing rock and roll album that blows away all the terms that have been used to describe their music, such as lo-fi, garage, punk, hardcore, shoegaze, psych, noise, and experimental.
