Blow Monkeys, a blue-eyed soul pop band that dominated the UK pop scene in the 80s with The Style Council and whose hits such as "Diggin' Your Scene" and "It Doesn't Have To Be This Way" are still loved today. Since their reunion with the original members in 2008, they have been releasing music consistently, and now they have released their fifth original album since their reunion! In their recent works, they have shifted to a more acoustic and bluesy style, but the opening song "Crying for the Moon" is thrilling, with a sweet and gorgeous sound for the first time in a while, and then there are mellow medium tunes with horns, strings and a supple groove. Dr. Robert's beautiful voice is still as strong as ever, and this is their best work since the reunion, with a wonderful blend of sophistication and adult flavor!
