TIM TREFFERS “Never Trust A Man In A Fur Coat” CD
A masterpiece debut album by a young talent from the Netherlands who brings you modern AOR and West Coast music of a quality that is beyond what you would expect from a newcomer! The cover of a little-known classic by Eric Tagg is also excellent!!
"The debut album of a new singer-songwriter from the Netherlands.
In addition to a cover of Eric Tagg's jazz ballad "Mirror,"
The mellow urban soul song "Real Good Love" is an instant classic."
--Kanazawa Toshikazu
Tim Treffers is a Dutch singer-songwriter born in 1988. He started composing on the piano at the age of 9, and at a young age, he received vocal training from local professional singers such as Alice May (Maywood) and Lisa Boley (American Gypsy). His long-awaited debut album is a masterpiece filled with AOR and West Coast sounds of a quality that is hard to believe for a newcomer. From stylish funky grooves to refreshing West Coast pop and beautiful jazzy ballads, the album is filled with great songs that show his extraordinary talent as both a melody maker and a sound maker. AOR fans will also be envious of his cover of the unknown masterpiece "Mirror" that Eric Tagg once wrote for a Dutch singer. The band's sound, which includes top-class musicians such as Eddie Conard (per), who is also famous as a producer, and Rude Bruce (tp) of the Metropole Orchestra, is wonderful, with a classic yet modern feel.
