JAMES WALSH GYPSY BAND "I've Got The Feelin'" CD
This shelved album, which has astonished everyone with its amazing content, has finally been released on the world's first official CD!!
"Discovered in the rare groove/free soul scene and gaining attention among fans of blue-eyed soul and light mellow music, the James Walsh Gypsy Band has released such a wonderful, long-awaited second album!
This year, the album was finally released on vinyl by a Nordic reissue label, and now it's available exclusively on CD in Japan (previously, it had only been sold on Gypsy's website as a self-produced CD-R).
The album was recorded in Muscle Shoals, as the title suggests, and features a local rhythm section and the Tower of Power Horns. It was produced by Walsh, Barry Beckett, and Jimmy Johnson.
However, the level of sophistication was greater than expected, resulting in a breezy, AOR-leaning masterpiece.
