★Paper jacket specification

This is the B.B. you should be listening to now!
The king of blues, leaning back with the five notes of the guitar at the beginning. Eternal beauty and excitement.
The Shout-Out of the King of Blues Singing
The gorgeous world of BB, dazzling with hits and treasures!!
                     --Yasufumi Higurashi

B.B. KING was the king of blues, who continued to reign at the top since his debut in 1949 until his death in 2015. He is an absolute presence that can be called the god of blues. He was selected as the 8th greatest guitarist of all time by Rolling Stone magazine in October 2023, and his innovative guitar playing and sophisticated style revolutionized modern blues, and had a huge influence on later guitarists such as Clapton and Ray Vaughan. You can't talk about blues without listening to B.B.'s unique world of blues, with his squeeze guitar that squeezes the blues out from the bottom of his soul and his overwhelming vocals with melisma. This is a carefully selected best album from the vast number of recordings made during B.B.'s Modern/Kent period from 1950 to 1965, the earliest and most successful period of his career. It was compiled by Yasufumi Higurashi, founder of P-Vine and the editor of "The Complete RPM/Kent Recording Box 1950-1965," which won both the critics' and readers' choice awards in the annual best album category of Living Blues, a long-established American blues magazine.
