I BUILT THE SKY & JAKE HOWSAM LOWE “Coalesce” CD

The latest work from I BUILT THE SKY, an Australian progressive metal/djent project that has evolved further through collaborations with such renowned artists as BTBAM, HAKEN, INTERVALS, PLINI, and CHON! This work, a collaboration with JAKE HOWSAM LOWE, who is also familiar from PLINI's tour support, is a guitar instrumental music in progress with a transcendental guitar part exchange! In addition, it is released as a Japanese domestic CD limited edition with two additional songs, including the band's first vocal song, featuring guest vocalist Andy Cizek of UK technical metalcore band MONUMENTS!

I BUILT THE SKY is an instrumental guitar project by Rohan Stevenson, who is based in Melbourne, Australia. The project started in 2012 and is based on the internet. The project gained attention for its complex, fast riffs played with advanced techniques, and above all, its emotional melodies and songwriting that tells a story. The project moved from studio work to live performances, and the project started to receive high praise from all quarters when it collaborated with fellow Australian artists who were already active worldwide in the progressive metal scene, such as PLINI, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, HAKEN, INTERVALS, and CHON, who led the technical scene in the 00s and 10s, when they toured Australia. From 2017 to 2018, they toured Australia and New Zealand, gaining solid acclaim, and in 2018, they toured the UK and Europe with Australia's leading progressive metal band, CALIGULA'S HORSE, and quickly made their way onto the worldwide scene. In November 2019, they released their latest album, "The Zenith Rise." With an ever-evolving technical sound as well as an emotional sound that tugs at the heartstrings, they are the most noteworthy guitar instrumental music of the 2020s, with a growing number of followers around the world.
