NEUE GRAFIK ENSEMBLE is a jazz project started in London by French DJ/producer/keyboardist NEUE GRAFIK, who has released an EP on label 22a, run by Tenderlonious and others. Nubya Garcia, a cutting-edge saxophonist on the UK jazz scene, Allysha Joy, a female singer on Gondwana, a Manchester-based jazz label known for GoGo Penguin and others, and Brother Portrait from the spoken word scene participate in this album, showcasing crossover jazz from thrilling session numbers to smooth mellow tunes! This is a super important work that resonates with the London jazz scene, which is booming with the rise of Shabaka Hutchings, Yussef Kamaal, Joe Armon-Jones, as well as Kamasi Washington, Thundercat, Brandon Coleman and others around Brainfeeder, and the new generation jazz scene in LA!
