In the recent music scene, the crossover between soul and AOR has attracted a lot of attention, with the term "city soul" being born. The long-awaited second volume of the groundbreaking compilation "BITTER GROOVES -pre-AOR styled SOUL-" (released in January 2018) that could be said to have predicted this trend has arrived! The songs were selected and supervised by DJ SAKAIDER, who is also known for the "NEO BLUE EYED SOUL" series. While keeping the concept of the previous work of "soul music on the eve of the birth of AOR", this work compiles songs with a more mellow mood, and is even more comfortable and stylish. The "modestly sweet" sound, which blends the refinement of AOR with the bitter taste unique to soul, will of course be a great hit as cafe music for adults this time as well.
