SHIBATA SATOKO "GANBARE!MELODY" CD

Singer-songwriter Satoko Shibata shows her true colors! With her strongest sound, she's packed with super pop, super catchy, good melodies. Her new album "Ganbare! Melody" is finally here with a total of 13 songs, no holds barred!

Participating musicians include Ito Ken (Drums), Kawai Shinobu (Bass), Okada Takuro (Guitar), Ramiko (Cho), and others. The album is centered around the best and strongest musicians who have performed live as the band "Satoshi Shibata in FIRE," and includes full participation from Miyazaki Yoichi, who was in charge of engineering for the previous album "Love's Holiday," produced by Quruli's Kishida Shigeru. Other wonderful guest musicians also participated.

This is her first self-produced album since her second album, "Ijiwaru Zenshu." If the rawness of her second album was a masterpiece that unsparingly presented the "core of her individuality" that is Shibata Satoko, then this album can be said to be the "sum of Shibata Satoko's talent," in which the music playing in her head is sublimated into a work of art without leaving anything out.

Machine Beat has become part of Shibata's blood through "Love Holiday" and "One Color Meter", and with the strong band members firmly supporting him, Shibata's sound production is like a fish in water. As a result, the sound has become much stronger and it can be said that "this is the sound of a singer!" Within that strong sound, Shibata Satoko always maintains the greatest presence, a state that cannot be reached with half-hearted singing and melody. The album title "Ganbare! Melody" is like an encouragement that Shibata Satoko sent to herself.
