JOHN BUTLER TRIO "HOME" CD
★ Simultaneous worldwide release
The world's strongest groove rock trio, the John Butler Trio, releases their first album in four and a half years, a moving and exciting masterpiece that surpasses their best work yet again!
Just how far will it scale up?! The rock-solid groove, the divine guitar work, the euphoric and nostalgic melodies, the delicacy and grandeur - all of JBT's charms have reached new heights in this satisfying work! The band will be touring Japan for the first time in four years in October, right after the release! JBT will once again excite the whole of Japan!
Now, the John Butler Trio, a national band in Australia and the strongest groove trio in demand at rock festivals around the world, has released a highly anticipated new album (the sixth full studio album under the trio name) four and a half years after their previous album "Flesh & Blood" in 2014! Immediately after the production of the previous album, drummer Nicky Bomba was replaced by Grant Geraci, and this album, the first album produced from scratch with the new lineup, was completed over a long period of four years through numerous sessions. As the title "Home" suggests, the content is filled with touching melodies and organic warmth that are more nostalgic than ever, but the new modern and precise sound production brought about by John's first use of a laptop in the composition process, and some songs have a grand and uplifting feeling that makes you imagine the big chorus at an outdoor festival, making it a satisfying finish that seamlessly blends the band's characteristics and new ideas. This album, which features John's divine guitar playing throughout, is a brilliant masterpiece that brings together their charms and further scales them up. JBT's evolution knows no bounds!
