Tribute to the super rare groove from the 1960s! GS, deep pop, R&B pop, Japanese bossa, and blues pop that saw the light of day in the fieldwork series "Phantom Masterpiece Liberation Song Collection" by the Phantom Masterpiece Liberation Alliance... From the cover collection "Showa Residence Red Edition," the legendary Showa pop songs memorialized by Crazy Ken Band are revived for the third time on analog for the first time!
Under the slogan "All records have the right to be played equally on the turntable," the "Phantom Masterpiece Liberation Alliance," a trio of Manabu Yuasa, Hideo Funabashi, and Kei Nemoto, compiled the album "Phantom Masterpiece Liberation Song Collection." As a tribute project, a CD was released in 2002, inviting Crazy Ken Band, Jim O'Rourke, Kaido, Kenji Endo, and others, to create the cover album "Showa Residence."
"Young and Sultry" is Miyama Koji's debut album from 1962. It's a blue rockabilly song about the youth of a 17-year-old (included in the legendary masterpiece Kaiho Kashu *King's "Young and Sultry" PCD-1519)!
"Listen up everyone" was written by Koji Tsuda in 1963. This rockabilly song has a distorted vocal like Howlin' Wolf's, and is a nod to rakugo (included in the legendary masterpiece Kaiho Kashu * Crown's "Heart Snatcher" PCD-1512). The men of Yokohama who love the Showa era sublimate the groove of the high economic growth period into the modern era. A tribute to the Showa era, a 3rd revival of Showa era pop music!!
