"Xavier" is a collaboration project between talented musicians, genius engineers and up-and-coming rappers and singers! The first release is a killer double cider 7-inch featuring chelmico and Shiotsuka Moeka (Yoh Bungaku).

Masayuki Ishii, a guitarist/producer who was formerly a central figure in the chang and currently works with artists such as TICA and Gabby & Lopez while also supporting artists such as Hanaregumi, ZAK, a sound engineer who has worked with highly creative artists such as Fishmans, UA, BOREDOMS, and Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Yumiko Ohno, who works with her own band Buffalo Daughter and also supports artists such as Cornelius, have launched a collaboration project called Xavier, which features a variety of up-and-coming artists as guests. The first release of this project features chelmico, a rap unit consisting of Rachel and Mamiko, and Moeka Shiotsuka, the guitarist and vocalist of Hitsujigakuin (only vocals on this album)! "Call In Sick" is composed by Masayuki Ishii and features lyrics and hooks by chelmico, with Masato Suzuki (b/LITTLE CREATURES), Toru Nishiuchi (sax & flute/Reggae Disco Rockers, Shintaro Sakamoto, and others), and Hisashi Numazawa (ds/Theatre Brook, blues.thebutcher-590213, and others). The humorous lyrics and great rap by chelmico make this a great dance number with a 80s flavor. "Kyutai" is written by Masayuki Ishii and sung by Moeka Shiotsuka, with Yumiko Ohno (b) and Tatsuhisa Yamamoto (ds/UA, Eiko Ishibashi, Jim O'Rourke, and others). It's an excellent ballad with an alternative feel and an old school rock taste, and Moeka Shiotsuka's appealing voice strikes the heart. Both are must-listen songs, and this unlikely combination has resulted in a super-strong double cider 7-inch! What's more, the artwork was done by the currently popular illustrator Mayu Yukishita.
