A man who loves music and physics. He has been deeply involved with soul music since his second year of high school in 1964. During his university years, he formed a blues and soul fan club with friends. He spent his time writing and introducing people to the music. He was born in Hakodate in 1948, but grew up mostly in Tokyo. His many books include Blues Sekai Chizu (Blues World Map) (Shobunsha), R&B, Soul no Sekai (The World of R&B and Soul) (Music Magazine) and Soul City USA: A Biography of the Uncrowned Soul Stars (Little More). This book is his first new book in 10 years since Ghost Musicians (DU Books).
