The O'Jays, one of the most famous Philly soul groups, sings with MFSB playing in the background.In 1971, just before their success in Philadelphia, they were discovered by H.B. Barnum, the famous producer of Spanky Wilson's Mother Records, and released their first album, "Super Bad". The last and most fantastic indie album!Then they arrived in Philly the next year, 1972, and released "Traitor's Theme"...
The first single, "Crossroads Of Life," has been included on numerous mix CDs since early on, especially in Japan, and has been reevaluated in the context of free soul. On the B-side is the popular groovy soul song "Gotta Get My Broom Out" with its fresh chorus work, which is also available on 7" for the first time on this album!
