Brief Encounter is a nine-member vocal and instrumental group centered around the four Bailey brothers from North Carolina. The original LP is now about 300,000 yen, and the legendary first album released in 1977 is known to soul and rare groove fans as the Holy Grail of Soul. This compilation includes all the singles that the group released in the 1970s on Seventy Seven/Sound Plus and Capitol! In addition, this is a groundbreaking compilation that includes two songs released in 2010 after the reunion, and two songs that were half-released until their release in 2018 by Athens Of The North in the UK! The original single (1977) is now traded for over 30,000 yen, and the super sweet ballad "Where Will I Go" (included in the complete version reissued by ATON), which was included in a P-Vine compilation LP in 1988 and became popular in the lowrider scene, is extremely rich!
